HF 1 available for ID DIACOS® 2020 SP 2
The amendments to Code U07.1 COVID-19 and the assignment of the key number U07.2, which were initiated by the WHO and published by DIMDI, were implemented under high pressure in ID DIACOS®.
This means the text adaptation of the ICD 10 Code U07.1! COVID-19, virus detected and the new ICD 10 Code U07.2! COVID-19, virus not detected have been included in the system.
According to DIMDI the following message was issued:
For the ICD-10-GM (German Modification) the codes are created as secondary codes (exclamation mark key numbers):
U07.1! COVID-19, virus detected
Coronavirus disease-2019, virus detected
Use this key number if COVID-19 is detected by a laboratory test, regardless of the severity of the clinical finding or symptoms.
First, use key numbers to indicate the presence of pneumonia or other manifestations or causes of contact.
U07.2! COVID-19, virus not detected
COVID-19 n.e.c.
Use this key number if COVID-19 is clinically-epidemiologically confirmed and the virus has not been detected by laboratory testing or no laboratory test is available.
Use first of all key numbers to indicate the presence of pneumonia or other manifestations or causes of contact.
